Of Hungarian origin and living in Belgium, Marianna develops a personal practice combining drawing, painting, and textile work.
From 2020 to 2025, she attended drawing courses at a small art studio, where she deepened her artistic research and gradually developed her visual language. Textile embroidery is self-taught and has naturally become an integral part of her creative process.
She creates acrylic paintings on canvas, which she subsequently transforms through textile embroidery. The threads add a three-dimensional dimension to the painted surface, turning the canvas into a space of relief. Thread is used as a material in its own right, introducing slowness and precision into the gesture.
Her work draws inspiration from nature and human relationships and reflects an ongoing exploration of personal reconstruction, inner development, and the connection between human beings and their environment.
