Karin Thompson is a Danish artist living and working in Belgium.
Her preferred medium is oil on canvas, her subjects varying from landscapes and nature studies to people and cities.
Karin likes to puzzle the spectator with her art. Often her scenes have a mysterious atmosphere: you cannot really be sure where you are or what is going on. Light and movement are very important, colours may be bright or muted.
Karin´s artistic background includes private art schools and classes with established artists in Denmark and Belgium. She exhibits regularly in and around Brussels and in Denmark.
She has been an exhibiting member of the API since 2006 and the Cercle Artistique de La Hulpe since 2000.
